It’s no surprise that in Hollywood, co-stars often get it on in real life after spending hours and hours together on set. In fact, in almost every franchise, there is a beautiful love story lurking somewhere behind the scenes.
The cast of Harry Potter is no exception when it comes to on-set romps and romances. Here’s a brief breakdown of the ladies and lads of the wizarding world who actually dated when the cameras stopped rolling:
1. Bonnie Wright & Jamie Campbell Bower
Yep, young Gellert Grindelwald and Harry Potter’s bae Ginny were totally an item back in the day. They collided on set in 2009 on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 but actually dated for all of the eight films she was in.
After announcing their engagement in April 2011, Bonnie Wright and actually waved their unbreakable bond behind in June 2012 as “things had not been good with them for a really long time.” They now both have new partners.
2. Tom Felton & Jade Olivia
Lovebirds Tom Felton and Jade Olivia had already been dating for quite some time when she was snapped up the role of his on-screen wife in the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. She played the role of Astoria Greengrass. Here’s the clip:
Speaking to MTV at the time, the British actor revealed:
“The producers actually came to me about six months ago and asked me. I was like, ‘OK, I’ll ask her.’ She was slightly reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it and then she was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross.”
They are still together and going strong.
3. Evanna Lynch & Robbie Jarvis

Well, we never saw this one coming! Luna Lovegood actually found true love with James Potter, Harry’s on-screen son. They got together two years after the final credits rolled and continue to post absolutely adorable selfies all over social media. They could if they tried.
4. Matthew Lewis & Emma Watson
OK, this one is not 100 percent confirmed but the details will still blow minds. Although we’ve known for years that Emma Watson once harbored an immense crush on rival Slytherin Tom Felton, did you know that she once apparently dated Matthew Lewis? Yep, apparently a flirtation was in full swing behind the scenes in the earlier movies and way
We know this because Rupert Grint accidentally spilled the beans in an interview with The Independent when he said:
“Overnight he became a sex symbol and it was nice for Matt to have his moment. He gave me a bit of stick with the kissing scenes with Emma, though, as back in the day he had a little thing with her.”
