5 Most Badass Quotes from ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6, Episode 9

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Season 6, Episode 9 of Game of Thrones. If you haven’t seen it then turn back now. Seriously bro, it’s Episode 9 – you know how epic they are.

Game Of Thrones was full of bad-ass moments this week and several bad-ass quotes to accompany them. Lets take a look at just a few:

1. “My reign has just begun”

In the opening sequence of the episode, Dany stood up for herself and took back control of Meereen. An all out war ensued as Dany led her dragons into the warzone and proved that she not only has what it takes to be a leader, but also what it takes to fight. This quote doesn’t just refer to her current ruling of Meereen, but is more representative of her as a character – Dany’s arc is finally beginning now that she is headed for Westeros. What a fine queen she would make.

2. “Dracarys”

In a goosebumps inducing moment, Dany uttered that terrifying word before Drogon laid waste to several of the masters ships and shipmen. Highlighting the authority that she has on her dragons, Dany proved that she will stop at nothing to take what is hers. It’s not the first time we’ve heard it, but it was equally as amazing.

3. “My dogs are desperate to meet you. I haven’t fed them in seven days, they’re ravenous”

Bold words from the villainous Ramsay Bolton – words that would later end up biting him in the ass – quite literally. Ramsay had his brave face on while confronting Jon and Sansa and remarked how his dogs were starved for seven days. Later, after he is apprehended by Jon, Ramsay finds himself at the mercy of his fellow hounds. Unfortunately for him, loyalty comes second to appetite and the dogs chomp on their former master.

4. “Do you like games, little man? Let’s play a game.”

As Ramsay has made clear to us so many times – he doesn’t like being bored and he does like playing games. In an attempt to taunt Jon and Sansa, he brought Rickon out on to the Battlefield. He told the young Stark boy to run to his brother Jon and, after a series of missed targets, Ramsay aimed his bow and hit Rickon with an arrow mere seconds before Jon grabbed him.

5. “You can’t kill me. I’m part of you now”

After he was apprehended, Ramsay spoke briefly to Sansa about how he’s part of her. Sansa paid no attention and watched as the hounds devoured him. Ramsay lost control and it was due to his erratic, obsessive behaviour. In this moment, Sansa got her justice and as a viewer, it was thoroughly satisfying!
