Amber Heard’s Legal Issues With Johnny Depp May Lose Her A Role In ‘Justice League’

2016 has been an incredibly difficult year for the actress Amber Heard, and if the latest rumors are to be believed, things may not improve anytime soon.

Back in March, , in Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie, but since then, the star has been hitting the headlines for far more controversial reasons, from Johnny Depp after .

In the midst of legal proceedings, Heard was scheduled to attend a Justice League costume fitting in London this week, but according to TMZ, the star was told not to come because the producers of the film felt that she’s not “camera ready” yet.

Heard has apparently lost 20 pounds due to the stress of her current legal situation, which was undoubtedly exasperated , so the producers are arguing that she’s currently too skinny for the role.

Justice League has been in principal photography since early April, so the studio could delay shooting Heard’s scenes until things begin to normalize, but this can’t be done indefinitely and with more court appearances scheduled in the near future, there’s a chance that Heard may not be ready in time.

Warner Bros. is yet to comment on the situation, but if the stress becomes too great for Heard or if she doesn’t revert back to her normal weight soon, the studio may consider recasting. However, the costume fitting has currently been rescheduled and not cancelled, so things aren’t looking completely bleak for the actress just yet.

The team behind Justice League hasn’t specified how integral Mera will be to the film’s plot yet, so it could be easy to delay shooting Heard’s scenes if the Queen of Atlantis only makes a small appearance in the final cut.

Either way though, Mera will undoubtedly play a much larger role in the upcoming Aquaman film, where she will fight to protect the Kingdom of Atlantis with Jason Momoa. Let’s hope that Heard keeps hold of the role, as .

Hopefully, we will see Heard kick ass alongside DC’s flagship team when Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
