Relations between celebrities in the A-list world have taken quite a hard hit this year, what with Kim Kardashian throwing Snapchat-shaped daggers at Taylor Swift and even The Rock taking a rather heavy-handed swipe at a mystery Fast 8 co-star the other day. Indeed, things aren’t looking that peachy in the celeb world right now, which is why the following is a breath of fresh air.
It’s no secret that there was some major beef brewin’ between Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen on the set of Judd Apatow’s comedy Knocked Up over nine years ago:
After the credits rolled, most of us know what happened by now: Heigl slammed the movie for being “a little sexist,” Apatow and Rogen slammed her for slamming it, unleashing a bit of an industry shitshow of sorts. The actress then semi-apologized and Rogen also admitted he said some things he regretted and the whole thing was shoved unceremoniously under the carpet.
Years on and all eyes were just diverted onto the Knocked Up disagreement once more. Speaking on Watch What Happens Live a few days ago, Rogen suggested that the feud was merely And guess what? Katherine has just piped up herself, ready to spread similarly good vibes all around. On Wednesday, she told reporters:
“I think [Seth] handled it so beautifully. I feel nothing but love and respect. It was so long ago, and I just wish him so much goodness. I felt that from him, too.”
Whoa. Can we finally sleep soundly at night knowing that this big, bad beef is over? It certainly looks like it.
And although we can’t expect to see Heigl and Rogen being all pally with one another in front of the cameras anytime soon, they certainly are a good example of how Hollywood enemies can bury the hatchet. Much like these celebrities, for example:
1. Nicki Minaj & Taylor Swift
Tay Tay has proven she can do it once, so she can totally do it again when it comes to ol’ Yeezy. A couple of years ago at the VMAs, there was a bit of confusion when Nicki Minaj voiced her opinion about the recognition of black women in the music industry. Taylor misinterpreted the tweet as a personal attack:
I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..
— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13)
After a while, both apologized to one another and consequently, opened the following year’s VMAs together in a blow-out performance that stunned the world and showed their unity.
Nice one, gals.
2. Kylie Jenner & Jessica Alba
Back in 2015, Kylie Jenner’s bodyguards appeared to have a serious lapse in judgement when they shoved actress Jessica Alba out of the way at New York Fashion Week. Why? Nobody really knows but it caused a media uproar.
A few blunt words were said, yet all in all, the issue was quickly resolved when Kylie sent Jessica a beautiful bouquet of flowers to say sorry.

3. Kim Kardashian & Amber Rose
Earlier this year, some major Twitter drama erupted between Kanye West and ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, leading her to post some rather uncomfortable revelations to do with Yeezy’s bottom. It was all very awkward, to be quite frank.
Yet, just when we thought we couldn’t bear it any longer, Kim Kardashian rose up like the social media phoenix that she is and snapped the following photo with her supposed arch-nemesis, putting the sordid details of the past in the past.
