As it stands, all hell is set to break loose in the next episode of Game of Thrones in the ‘Battle of the Bastards’ expected to take place in the North. And with the storyline taking us down a vicious dead-end of potentially one of the biggest conflicts in the show so far, it seems that we can definitely expect in the ninth episode. If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the epic promo for Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones:
Now though, many are suggesting that there is much more to next week’s episode that lies beneath the surface — changing circumstances taking place far from the military action in the North.
A fan recently posted a pic of an article snippet from TV & Satellite Week that heavily implies that Daenerys will be making a solid appearance in episode 9. The last we saw of her was when she stormed into Meereen during the slavers siege.
The excerpt reads:
“As Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton do battle in the north, elsewhere in the Seven Kingdoms it’s the female characters who look the most likely to rule Westeros as season six comes to a close.
This week’s episode sees Yara Greyjoy and her brother Theon finally make it to Meereen where the Ironborn warrior finds an admirer in Daenerys.”
Indeed, it appears that what with the exciting alliance between Yara and Daenerys. Could women finally be calling the shots in the male-dominated savagery of Westeros?
What do you think this means for the epic storyline?
