Daniel Radcliffe might have donned his signature spectacles to play The Boy Who Lived in , but there is enough magic left in him to consider making our lives and reprising the role.
In an interview with Radio Times, Potter citing Harrison Ford reprising his Star Wars and Indiana Jones roles as inspiration and gave Potterheads the world over fresh hope of the 26-year-old star returning to Hogwarts as a fully-fledged adult. He explained:
“It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo, and look what happened there! So I am saying no for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”
Although Radcliffe is totally up for waggling his wand again for the right reason, the star still hasn’t seen his latest incarnation on the London stage for , he told Stephen Colbert that:
“I feel like I want to see the show. I am genuinely intrigued and I’ve heard it’s fantastic. But I just feel sitting in an audience of what will, for most of the near future, be very enthusiastic ‘Harry Potter’ fans might be, like, not a relaxing way to see a show.”
Could he BE any cuter?!
Personally, I would pretty game for Radcliffe returning to act out that had me weeping tears of hilarity in public, but for now I will just bathe in the nostalgia of his first glimpse of the Wizarding World below.
