Many horror fans fell in love with little Sam, the sack-headed, pumpkin-loving little weirdo in Trick ‘R Treat. Still, 11 years before Trick ‘R Treat warmed our dark, horror-obsessed hearts, its creepy little critter had already made his screen debut. Check out Trick ‘R Treat director Michael Dougherty’s original short film, “Season’s Greetings” from 1996 and discover the origins of Sam. Pretty cool, huh? Was Sam’s 1996 appearance new to you or had you already seen it on the fancy Trick ‘R Treat DVD, or hunted it down online somewhere? You may also be unaware that Trick ‘R Treat received a cool graphic novel treatment, Trick ‘R Treat: Days of the Dead, which combines four different stories. Rumor has it that we may finally see Trick ‘R Treat 2 this year, too. What would you like to see in Trick ‘R Treat 2?
