If you think of Spider-Man: Homecoming as yet another franchise featuring the teenage webslinger, there might not be much to it on paper — but as soon as we laid eyes on in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, we knew we might just have the best interpretation yet. Marvel’s new Spider-Man, in his suit designed by Tony Stark, is chatty and awkward and awesomely skilled at the same time.
After we’ve heard , without necessarily knowing which characters from the comics or even would make an appearance, we’ve finally got a first look at Spider-Man: Homecoming from Marvel’s Comic-Con panel, and it’s clear that the hype is just starting.

Granted, we didn’t get to see the footage of what Marvel dubbed a “high school movie,” but the Vulture is a central piece — and Michael Keaton’s now finally been confirmed for the role! It certainly looks like he’s going to give Spidey a run for his money.
Tom Holland, meanwhile, just nails the perfect mix of shy teenager and fearless fighter — after all, he’s probably the only one who was able to truly marvel at Bucky’s metal arm from up close.
