Glee Actor Mark Salling Indicted For Two Child Pornography Charges

Mark Salling, best known for his role as Puck in Glee, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in the child pornography case against him.

The indictment, which was handed down on Friday, charges Selling with both receiving and possessing child porn. These are serious charges that also mean lengthy potential jail time and the Glee star faces five to 20 years in prison is convicted of the receiving count with a potential 20 years on top for possession.

after receiving a tip from a former girlfriend. The search resulted in the seizure his laptop which allegedly contained over 1000 pornographic images and videos involving underage kids. It’s alleged that some of the material seized included girls under the age of 10 engaged in sexual acts.

Since he was arrested, Salling’s family have provided 10 percent of his $20,000 bail to secure his release. The 33-year-old actor has kept a low profile and has not issued an official statement about the allegations.

It is not yet known if Salling will plead guilty or not-guilty of the serious charges against him, but he has agreed to be arraigned on June 3.
