It was already hinted at in the trailer, but Hugh Jackman’s cameo appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse was undoubtedly one of the movie’s highlights, bringing to life an iconic era in Wolverine’s comic book history.
that audiences have seen Weapon X on screen, which was last hinted at when in X-Men: Days of Future Past, but Bryan Singer’s latest stab at it shows Logan in glorious, full-on berserker mode.
didn’t hold Singer back from unleashing the fury of Wolverine’s bloodlust, stabbing guards while hurling them around the Weapon X facility like rag dolls. Unfortunately, a clip of the scene hasn’t surfaced online yet, but we’ve got something even better.
Singer’s just released a behind-the-scenes video of the violent sequence, which opens with a man flying past the camera before Wolverine suddenly appears, taking guards out left, right and centre. Ever the professional, Jackman runs to check the playback immediately after Singer yells “cut”, decked out in his freaky headgear and all.

“The hardest working and kindest actor in all of Hollywood.”
While undoubtedly true, Singer’s caption describing Jackman is a little harder to believe when you watch him play Logan in full-on berserker mode.
Unfortunately, this impressive cameo could be one of the last times that Jackman dons his signature claws, as the actor will supposedly retire from the role after Wolverine 3.
Rumors suggest that the classic comic book story line “Old Man Logan” could provide the backbones of the plot, but at the end of X-Men:Apocalypse suggests that .
While X-Men fans continue looking towards the future of the franchise, anticipating the likes of and Deadpool 2 with hope and joy, let’s take a look back at Hugh Jackman’s audition for the role that would make him a superstar across the world.
