‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ Trailer Has Been Pulled From The Stone At SDCC

The first trailer for King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword has just dropped at San Diego Comic-Con and the fight for the throne is officially on! So, pull up a seat around the round table and make yourself comfortable, for Guy Ritchie’s retelling of Arthurian legend is set to be one hell of a ride.

Starring Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) as King Arthur and Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes) as the villainous Vortigern, this two-hour epic from Warner Bros. seems to contain all the grim and grit you’d expect from a historical tale brimming with myth and murder.

And here it is:

The official synopsis is as follows:

The young Arthur runs the back passages of Londinium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to make up his mind. [further explanation needed] Throwing in with the Resistance and an enigmatic young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern — who murdered his parents and stole his crown — and become king.”

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword will ride into theaters March 24, 2017.
