Kneel Before Him! Tom Hiddleston Has Joined Instagram, And His First Post Is Full of Mischief!

When Chris Hemsworth was asked about his Thor co-star by the Australian Radio Station Nova 96.9 a few weeks ago, he revealed that Tom Hiddleston was very “happy.” Some would ask: how could he not be?? Still basking in the all-round success of The Night Manager TV series and looking forward to even more success in the upcoming prequel Kong: Skull Island, Hiddleston recently stunned the internet by entering into a relationship with the rather lovely singer Taylor Swift.

Now collectively known as “Hiddleswift,” the couple have charmed their way into our hearts. Whether its kissing on beaches or looking extremely loved up alongside Deadpool- sorry, Ryan Reynolds- and his wife Blake Lively. Check out that lovely picture once more:

And now, not content with giving us all the feels, Hiddleston looks set sure to share even more awesomeness with us… !

Mere hours ago he posted the selfie below, complete with a cheeky rocker-pose. But he is also dressed in one very familiar get-up…

Within hours, he’s gained over 528,000 (and counting) followers! Certainly some feat, but it will take a lot to beat his girlfriend’s 88 million subscribers.

But no matter! He looks very pleased to be back as Loki in all of his Asgardian regalia; indeed, he has repeatedly discussed how much he loves his breakout role, due to the opportunities that it gifts him:

“I love …playing him… [it’s such] a delight… because of the way the character was developed…playing that mischievous element in all its unpredictability is really, really fun.”

Hiddleston is in Australia to work on the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok, whereby he will be reunited with Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins and Mark Ruffalo, and become acquainted with the new additions to the cast: Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, and Karl Urban.

Production is well underway on the highly anticipated outing. In fact, it’s so far along that Mark Ruffalo recently and revealed that he has already finished work on the threequel!

The titular “Ragnarok” refers to the end of the universe’s mythical cycle, culminating in the destruction of everything, so audiences can expect some heightened stakes and epic battles aplenty. Other than that, plot details are scarce and we can only infer what may happen through

Ruffalo, Hopkins, Blancett…What talent! I don’t know about you, but this Loki-tease has got me even more exited for Ragnarok. After all, when we last saw Loki back in 2013 (in Thor: The Dark World) he had in fact survived his fight with Kurse and stolen the throne from Odin. Masquerading as his adoptive father, he now rules Asgard, but how can he keep this a secret from Thor? There are definitely a lot of questions that Ragnarok has to answer, such as:

What has happened to Odin? How is Thor going to find out? And as the threat of Thanos grows, what will this mean for Avengers: Infinity War?

Enough of your tricks!

It’s far too early to say for sure, so we’ll have to wait until next November (?!!!!) to find out. In the meantime, the ever kind and gentlemanly Hiddleston is sure to keep us updated on any developments. After all, he’s known for being considerate to his fans, as well as his mischievous streak.

Don’t believe me? Check out the below picture from the set of the first Avengers movie!

I rest my case.

Excited to see Loki? What do you think this means for Thor? Head to the comments and let us know- and be sure to check out our video of the whole Marvel cast showing their mischievous side, dance-off style.
