Kristen Stewart Speaks Out About Her Changing Sexuality In Frank, New Interview

Kristen Stewart’s love life has long been under the critical scrutiny of the tabloid press, but the star has made it crystal clear that she doesn’t need to define her sexuality to know who she is. In a brand new interview with Variety, KStew candidly spoke about her relationship with her sexuality and how she struggled to come to terms with how to define herself, before deciding that saying nothing is just as much of a statement as “coming out.”

Stewart also made it clear that not defining your sexuality is also a totally valid option and that she doesn’t have any time for people who don’t understand that in her life, she explained:
It wasn’t always like this in Kristen’s younger days though, and the star admitted that she went through confusion and pressure about her sexuality just like many young people, both LGBT or otherwise; the Café Society actor told interviewers:

There is one pressure that the ever-confident Kristen still feels is perfectly valid, sending out the correct message to the LGBT community, especially young people who might be having a hard time coming to terms with their sexuality. Stewart explained:

Personally, I think it’s an awesome and valuable message that as far as sexuality goes, it doesn’t have to be so black and white. By sending out the message that it’s totally normal to take a while to figure out what gender (or genders) you are attracted to, Kristen is letting her fans know to go with what they feel and that is the most helpful message of all.
