‘Marauders’ Trailer Teases Bank Heist Thrills Starring Bruce Willis & Christopher Meloni

The first trailer for Marauders was released earlier today, promising a taught action thriller with plenty of mystery.

The film, directed by Steven C. Miller, centers on Christopher Meloni, and as a team of FBI agents investigating a string of heists targeting banks owned by . But as they further investigate the case, and as the brutal heists continue, events point towards a larger conspiracy.

If this were just a standard bank heist story, Marauders would be pretty boring. But the promise of a bigger conspiracy could lead to some exciting intrigue on the big screen. That said, what really sells this film is its cast. Christopher Meloni proved the quintessential TV cop during his 12 seasons on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the new film looks to follow the trend. Thankfully, he’ll have the help of Guardians of the Galaxy standout Dave Bautista and Entourage star Adrien Grenier, creating a trio you wouldn’t expect to see starring together but one that could prove a hit. Even more exciting is Bruce Willis, who basically looks to be the film’s villain (or at least its most mysterious character). Willis would normally play the hero in this kind of movie, so seeing him play against type should be a treat for fans.

Marauders will be released in theaters and On Demand on July 1. What do you think of the film’s trailer? Are you excited for this heist story? Let us know in the comments.
