Meet The Malfoys: Even MORE ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ Cast Photos Have Arrived

It’s a good week to be a Potter fan!

Following the release of images of the and from the upcoming play Harry Potter and the Curse Child earlier in the week, even more character images have now been posted for our viewing pleasure! However unlike the previous two families, there’s a touch of villainy in the next set as we’re introduced to the Malfoy family.

The upcoming play ( ), which is set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is preparing for a July 30 debut, though the first public preview is in just five days. Take a look at the images below to get your first look at a mid-30s Draco Malfoy and his son, Scorpius, as well as to see what J.K. Rowling had to say about the characters:

Scorpius Malfoy (played by Anthony Boyle) looks absolutely perfect in his robes and white-blond hair. I can’t wait to hear how he interacts with the next generation of Potters. Has the rivalry settled down since the events of Deathly Hallows, or will Scorpius be a chip off the old block?

J.K. Rowling: “I’ve got a feeling Scorpius is going to do nothing to turn girls off the Malfoy men.”

WOW. Draco (played by Alex Price) looks perfect. His long locks are reminiscent of his father’s from the Harry Potter films, and Price has definitely nailed Draco’s piercing look.

What a pair! Draco looks exactly how I would imagine he would age, and Scorpius looks like he’ll be a very intriguing character, he doesn’t look quite as menacing as his father, so perhaps he’ll prove more of an ally for Albus Potter than an enemy.

J.K. Rowling: “I love Draco and Scorpius — they actually look related!” First public preview is in five days!”

Sadly there are no images of Draco’s wife Astoria Greengrass, though that’s not to say she won’t appear in the play, which has

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
