New Rumor Reports Working Titles For ‘Justice League: Part One’

Fans will have to wait more than a year to see DC Comics’ greatest heroes assemble on the big screen in , and thankfully it looks like the film will have a more creative title.

A rumor from Heroic Hollywood suggests potential working titles for the upcoming Justice League: Part One, as well as alleged dates for some as-yet-unannounced DC film projects.

The possible working titles for the film are rumored to be Justice League: United, Justice League: Angels and Demons, Justice League: Gods Among Us and Justice League: Gods Among Men.

Out of the four titles, fans are most likely to recognize United and Gods Among Us. Justice League United was a comic series by Jeff Lemire and Mike McKone that ran from 2013 to 2015, though the book followed a radically different Justice League team than the one we know will be in the film. Meanwhile, Gods Among Us is the subtitle to , the popular DC Comics-inspired fighting game. The game takes place in a dystopian future where Superman’s established a totalitarian regime after the death of Lois Lane, which would potentially align with DC’s cinematic vision. In , the Flash traveled back in time to tell Bruce Wayne that Lois Lane is the key to everything. The message was a little unclear, but could have been a warning to prevent a similar dystopian future.

More DC Movies On The Way?

The rumor also reports that DC and Warner Bros. plan to release films on October 2, 2020; April 16, 2021; July 2, 2021; and November 5, 2021. Their current schedule only extends to the April 3, 2020 release date for Cyborg, and the companies are yet to announce any more projects. But with a massive catalog of comic book heroes, DC could be banking on the future success of its cinematic universe, with plans to expand beyond its initial slate of Justice League-focused films.

Justice League: Part One is set for release on November 17, 2017.
