Wow this film looks intense. I was already looking forward to this film simply based on all the buzz it has received from the festival tour, and after watching this trailer, I am even more excited.

I love the cinematic feel of the film, especially the color grading used. It gives the film a gritty old Hollywood feel.

The actors look to be a perfect fit for these intense roles, especially Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Shannon. I would not be surprised to see Tom Ford repeat his Oscar success from A Single Man and one of these 3 get nominated. Jake may be able to get the Oscar which he has not been nominated since (Supporting Actor) and which he was nominated for Best Actor in all the other Award shows except Oscars.
