There’s going to be a lot of cake handed around the Marvel offices today as not one, but three superheroes are all celebrating their birthdays on June 13.
When they first hit Hollywood, it might have been hard to imagine Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson or Kodi Smit-McPhee as superheroes, but all three actors successfully took each role and made it their own.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the personal addresses of these actors yet, so instead of sending them utility belts or stretchy underwear as gifts, let’s celebrate their birthdays by taking a look back at their earliest roles, charting how far they’ve come.

Powerful turns in dark fare such as The Road and Let Me In led to a part in the tongue-twisting blockbuster Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and a key role in the cult hit Slow West, where Kodi shone next to the acclaimed actor Michael Fassbender.
Smit-McPhee and Fassbender reunited this year on screen, starring in , X-Men: Apocalypse. Kodi’s performance as the lovable Nightcrawler was a highlight of the film, where the young actor successfully stood out within the movie’s large ensemble.
Happy birthday, Kodi Smit-McPhee! We’ll next see the up-and-coming star in the lead role for the historical action flick The Solutrean.
Who’s your favorite actor? Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson or Kodi Smit-McPhee?
The day someone green-lights a Marvel Zombies Ghibli film directed by Xavier Dolan is the day I will be happy. Any day now…
