Trailer for The Magnificent Seven, starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.
Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ The Magnificent Seven. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money. The 2016 version of The Magnificent Seven can be called a re-imainging of a re-imagining. Considering that the 1960 Western was a re-telling of , it makes sense.
The film will be the last original score by composer James Horner. The musical genius died in a plane crash before production on the film began, but he was so excited for this project that Horner completed the entire score before his accident.
The film represents the first Western ever for both Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.
I’ve been a fan of this er, re-imaging ever since the terrific first . Great footage and a wonderful cover. And now we’re back for a second go, and the trailer for The Magnificent Seven shows plenty of new footage while introducing our magnificent bunch of misfits in countdown fashion.
