Tom Holland Gets High In New ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Set Photo

Someone in health and safety is having a heart attack right about now.

Tom Holland, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s super-teenager-y new Peter Parker, just posted an on-set selfie to mark precisely one year until the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Check it out.

The actual plot of Homecoming remains a bit of a mystery at this point, but as casting news continues to emerge we’re at least getting a clearer picture of the main players. Last night the news broke that , playing an unspecified character which may or may not be Gwen Stacy. Personally I think that would be a little weird, considering Tom Holland is 20 even if he’s playing younger, but whatever.

There’s still no confirmation of Michael Keaton playing Vulture, , but most people seem happy to run with that rumor. For my money the best villain to date in a Spider-Man movie was Willem Dafoe’s stunningly creepy and genuinely unhinged Norman Osborn, but if anyone can go toe-to-toe with Dafoe (all the rhymes) it’s surely Keaton.

One of the most curious mysteries is who Donald Glover, the fan favorite whom Marvel nerds had hoped would be cast as Miles Morales, will be playing in Homecoming. Personally I struggle to imagine that Marvel would introduce Morales in the same movie as their new Peter Parker, but there’s every possibility that he could .

And, of course, Tony Stark in some capacity, while presumably also trying to calculate the fastest route into Hot Aunt May’s pants. Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017 in the US, and you can keep up to date with Tom Holland’s Instagram (unless you’re the type of person who gets envious easily, in which case don’t bother).

Could Vulture Be The Ultimate Spider-Man Villain In ‘Homecoming’?
