Here is a little background info on the Director. Adam Smith is an award winning film, television drama, documentary and music video director. His filmmaking journey began as a teenager, making visuals for raves and nightclubs in a creative collective, which he co-founded, called Vegetable Vision. He has since gone on to work extensively with electro music duo The Chemical Brothers and Mike Skinner of hip-hop garage project The Streets. TV credits include Brit teen comedy drama ‘Skins’, BBC mini-series ‘Little Dorrit’, Matt Smith’s opening episode of ‘Doctor Who’ in 2010 and documentaries ‘Wot Do U Call It?’, ‘A.I.P.S’ and ‘Ghetto on Sea’.
Music for the film is an original score from The Chemical Brothers. I am not sure what to think about this one. I am immediately drawn in with the two lead characters being Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson, but the trailer felt way too flat for me. The story line seems a bit janky a too forced.
